Allen Garr for Vancity Board of Directors

I am pleased to announce that I have been successfully re-elected to the Board of Vancity. Thank you all for your votes and for your continued support!

Dear fellow Vancity member,

I am running for  re-election to the Vancity Board because I am  excited about helping our co-operative to continue to provide  members with the financial services they need while using our resources to build healthy inclusive communities. With the experience I  gained over my first term, along with the formal educational programs I have completed, I feel more capable of doing this than ever before.

I have been recommended for election by the Vancity Board of Directors and I have been formally endorsed by Vancity members:

• Jane Dyson, Executive Director, B.C. Coalition of People with Disabilities
• Charan Gill, CEO, Progressive Intercultural Community Services (PICS)
• Mike Harcourt, former Premier of British Columbia
• Heather Redfern, Executive Director, the Vancouver East Cultural Center (The Cultch)

If you have not yet received your election material , it will arrive in the next few days. There are three ways in which you cast your vote to support me. From April 2 to April 26, you can vote for me by mail or on line at  vancity.com or you can vote at selected branches from April 12 to April 20.
